Thai Yoga Massage, sometimes called "assisted yoga", is a powerful tool for enhancing mobility and flexibility for better ease of movement, while physically and mentally restoring balance and harmony.

Thai Yoga massage combines acupressure along with yoga-inspired assisted movements, stretching techniques, joint mobilizations, and rhythmic compressions.

 These techniques aim to improve the body's structural alignment and symmetry, release muscle tension, enhance flexibility and mobility, loosen fascia, open tight joints, improve circulation,

boost energy flow, and foster relaxation.

At Alquimia Wellness​​

we offer traditional Thai Yoga massage where the session takes place on a mat, as opposed to a massage table, giving the therapist the advantage of maintaining the ideal posture required for this type of bodywork.

 

Apart from the therapist's own body weight used to apply the therapeutic pressure necessary, hands and other parts of the therapist's body like the elbow, knees and feet will also be used. 

The client is asked to wear either loose-fitting or flexible clothing, this will permit the therapist to freely stretch the client while preventing any uncomfortable exposure.
