"When you make yourself a priority, you are creating a strong foundation for everything else to grow upon."
Montserrat is a NYS licensed and board certified acupuncture and massage therapist. Trained in the US, Europe and China, she brings more than 18 years of alternative medicine experience into her sessions. She founded Alquimia Wellness in 2006, opening her first private practice in one of the major medical hubs of Long Island's North Shore where she was highly respected by her clients as well as the centers' medical professionals.

She moved to Williamsburg in 2015 and decided it was the perfect location to resume her practice. Feeling tremendously blessed to have been part of so many clients' wellness journeys in her Long Island clinic, she looks forward to continue to bring the healing benefits of her acupuncture and massage therapies to the Williamsburg community.

Montserrat has extensive experience in working with a variety of clients, from those looking for pain management, relief of general stress, to emotional wellness, women's health, fertility support and the symptoms of chronic illness.

Previously a fitness instructor, and owner of a fitness studio, she has honed her expertise in relieving stubborn muscle tension and improving mobility and flexibility using Dry Needling to target trigger points. Her proficiency in this area is highly sought after by various individuals, including fitness enthusiasts, marathon runners, and professional athletes alike.

Tony Gedrich, LMT
Massage, Thai Yoga Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Reiki

Tony is a NYS Licensed Massage Therapist who discovered his passion for the profession after experiencing relief from his own chronic pain and mental stress through therapeutic bodywork. Intrigued by the intricate connection between mind and body, he is driven to bring the same benefits for his clients, recognizing them as complete individuals rather than just a set of muscles.
He believes in the multifaceted benefits of massage, extending beyond physical improvement to encompass overall well-being and mental clarity. Thus, his sessions focus not only to restore bodily equilibrium, but also on reducing stress and enhancing mental focus.

To optimize outcomes for his clients, Tony not only merges his clinical training, therapeutic massage methods such as Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, and Muscle Energy Techniques, but also his expertise gained from more than a decade of practice in Reiki and energy healing.

On his off-hours, Tony channels his creativity into music, writing and performing music on bass, violin and electronic media.
